Eligibility for FREE Level 2 Distance Learning Courses:

  • Be resident in England and live in a postcode area that is eligible for funding
  • Learners must be aged 19 years or over as of the current academic year
  • Have a Full Level 2 qualification if aged 19-23 (subject to a ULN check being undertaken)
  • Have lived in the EU for the last three years
  • How much does it cost?

    This course is currently being offered FREE of charge. If, however, the learner is withdrawn without completing the course a fee may be charged to cover the cost of administration, course materials and registration.

  • Who is it for?

    The course is aimed at individuals working within the health and social care sector, looking to gain specialist knowledge and understanding of personal care needs.

  • Entry Requirements

    There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this programme, although the qualification is designed for those currently employed in a relevant role. Good numeracy and literacy skills are advantageous.

  • What does the course involve?

    The course comprises the following six Mandatory Units:

    • Understand person-centred care
    • Understand how to support personal hygiene
    • Understand foot care for individuals
    • Understand how to support individuals to maintain oral health
    • Understand pressure area care
    • Understand Sepsis.

     

    This qualification could be what you need to improve your career prospects and get your ideal job, if you are unable to attend college on a regular basis.     To pass this qualification, learners are required to complete 2 formal Assessments (one after each module) submitted to us for marking.
