Who is it for?
The Games Design and Concept Art Pathway is for ambitious students who are excited to follow a career in the games industry, one of the leading creative professions in the UK and worldwide. Students will learn how to visualise ideas, create 2D and 3D assets, and explore key techniques for developing characters, environments, and objects which underpin every game concept. Students will also acquire knowledge and understanding of the games industry to market and promote their products.
As the games industry is constantly evolving, we are looking for students who are not only passionate about games and game art, but also want to explore ways in which to develop fresh and unique ideas. Students will be willing to learn a variety of digital and traditional techniques and to engage in creative briefs, working both individually and in a team.
