With more men appreciating and taking pleasure in their appearance, the men's grooming industry is expanding and the art of barbering has seen a resurgence in recent years.

If you want to learn how to express your creative side, channel your communication skills, and work with a wide range of fascinating people in an industry as diverse and colourful as the products you'll use, we have the qualifications and training for you. Our full-time and part-time courses in hairdressing, barbering, makeup, nail care, beauty therapy, and massage therapy are offered at Levels 1-3. Training takes place in our professional hair and beauty training salons on the London Road Campus. In-house competitions are judged by prominent local employers, and students also compete in national competitions such as the Blackpool National Hairdressing Competition and WorldSkills, where they have won gold awards.
