What does the course involve?
The outdoor activities course is an adventurous and energetic subject to study at Shrewsbury College and includes many outdoor activities such as mountain biking and rock climbing as well as traditional sports. Our expert teachers will guide students through the requirements and they will have the opportunity to complete various residential courses, including overseas trips, and also organise their own expeditions. We encourage students to support a local charity in conjunction with the planning of their expedition.
Students should enjoy outdoor life and be willing to take on challenging and adventurous activities. Many of the learning activities take place in the outdoors and outside of college.
The course includes the following units:

• Work experience in sport
• Prepare for career in sports and physical activity
