- Who is it for?
This is an introductory course which provides training and practice in basic plumbing. You will learn to deal with small plumbing tasks, whilst knowing when to contact a specialist plumber or gas engineer.
- Entry Requirements
No formal qualifications are required, however a keen interest in plumbing would be advantageous.
- What does the course involve?
The course will give you background knowledge and practical skills in basic plumbing, and will include the following: Health and Safety; cutting and joining copper pipework; replacement and repair of basic fittings (taps, washers, traps); waste and drainage.
Students should equip themselves with: Tape Measure, Gloves, Safety Shoes/Boots.
- How is the course assessed?
No formal assessment to be undertaken other than ongoing support and guidance.
