Esports is the fastest growing sports industry. Our teachers are specialists in their fields and have experience managing Esports events. This course is endorsed by the British Esports Association, meaning it is recognised by employers and supports entry into a range of industry roles.
Students will cover all aspects of the Esports industry, including live stream broadcasting and shoutcasting, content creation for social media, Esports coaching, psychology, ethics, and event management. Each unit of work has a direct link to a job role in the Esports industry.

Entry Requirements
A minimum of four GCSEs at Grade 4 or above (including English Language and preferably Maths), or a Level 2 Diploma at Merit Grade.

• Health, wellbeing and fitness for Esports players
• Producing an Esports brand
• Business applications of Esports in Social-Media
• Ethical and Current Issues in Esports

How is the course assessed?
Students' work will be continuously assessed throughout the course. Assessments include written coursework assignments, pitches/ presentations and student-led projects that they will be asked to complete with set deadlines.

Additional Notes
This course prepares students for a variety of exciting and dynamic careers across multiple sectors. Our students go on to embark on a career in events management, marketing, or content creation. More traditional Esports careers include being an analyst, nutritionist, sports psychologist, strategic coach or even team manager, where students can shape the success of a team.
This qualification also opens the door to university where students may choose to specialise in one of the fields mentioned previously.

Other Details
You can join one of our teams, such as Rocket League, Valorant and Overwatch 2, and compete across the UK in events hosted by the British Esports Association. You will be learning in an Esports training facility with high-spec industry-standard equipment.
