Adult Learner

Shrewsbury College has much to offer adults who want to return to learning.
Whether you want to gain a qualification for a career move or for the great personal satisfaction that comes from learning something new whilst meeting like minded people and making new friends, we will have something for you.
We offer a wide range of full-time and part-time courses. We also have evening courses in various locations around Shrewsbury and Shropshire. If you are aged 24 or under you will not be liable for any course fees for full-time courses, though there may be some material costs. If you are aged 25 or over, you will pay tuition fees which are usually £100 plus examination, registration and material costs.
If you are in receipt of certain benefits then you may not have to pay tuition fees for part-time courses. For help on financial matters please contact the Learner Services team.
