Shrewsbury College is pleased to offer a range of apprenticeship units designed to help existing employees (aged 19 and over) develop new knowledge and skills in areas that support business growth, productivity and innovation.

These short, flexible programmes are ideal for employees who are not currently enrolled on an apprenticeship and who need targeted upskilling to address emerging business needs. Apprenticeship units provide practical, workplace-focused learning that employees can apply immediately in their roles.

The good news for employers is that they can access apprenticeship units at little or no cost. Organisations that pay the Apprenticeship Levy may be able to fund training through their levy contributions, while non-levy employers may benefit from government funding, subject to eligibility and programme requirements.

By combining high-quality training with flexible funding opportunities, Shrewsbury College helps employers invest in their workforce, address skills gaps and prepare for future challenges. We will be offering the following apprenticeship units:

  • AI Leadership: AI Strategy and Opportunity
  • AI Leadership: AI Adoption, Procurement and Governance
  • AI Leadership: AI Delivery and Organisational Transformation
  • Battery Manufacturing
  • Solar PV Installation and Maintenance
  • Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Point Installation and Maintenance
