Vocational Students recognised at annual awards night

Shrewsbury College held its Celebrating Vocational Achievement Awards last night, recognising the hard work of our most dedicated students.

170 invited guests, including employers and family and friends of the 24 winners and 23 highly commended students, all gathered in Clayton Hall for the presentations.

Principal and CEO of Shrewsbury Colleges Group, James Staniforth and Gordon Channon, Chair of the Board of Governors handed out the awards.

Councillor Jane Mckenzie, Mayor of Shrewsbury, issued Seth Jurgans with an award for volunteering and work outside of his studies.
