University Level Courses

Study university-level courses in Shrewsbury

Choose from HNCs, HNDs, degrees and Access to Higher Education courses - all delivered locally with smaller class sizes and expert support.

As the largest college in Shropshire, we’ve been delivering university-level education for over 20 years, helping students progress into successful careers across the region and beyond.

You’ll learn from experienced lecturers with real industry knowledge, and benefit from small class sizes that allow for personalised support and a more tailored learning experience.

No A Levels? You can still go to university

Access to Higher Education courses are designed for adults who want to progress to university but don’t have traditional qualifications.

Our healthcare and Humanities & Social Sciences pathways provide excellent preparation for university study. This nationally recognised qualification gives you the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to progress to a degree or other higher education course.

  • Equivalent to A Levels
  • Complete in 1 year (2 years part-time)
  • Accepted by universities
  • Ideal for career changers
