MOT Tester (class 4 and 7)

• Full driving licence
• An approved Level 3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification
• At least 4 years' experience in the Motor Industry (students must supply details of all their employers for these 4 years of employment experience prior to enrolment)
• Overalls and protective footwear for college
• No unspent convictions for criminal offences

3 days study at college with a final online assessment. The course is both classroom (theory) and workshop-based (practical).

The final assessment comprises an online examination set by the IMI and a practical MOT assessment.

Once successfully completed you will be required to complete 3 hours annual updates/CPD to maintain your status.
