What does the course involve?

Safe isolation of electrical circuits and installations Requirements for completing the inspection of electrical installations prior to there being placed into service Requirements for the safe testing and commissioning of electrical installations Requirements for the completion of electrical installation certificates, electrical installation condition reports and associated documentation Safety of systems and equipment prior to completion of inspection, testing and commissioning Inspection of electrical installations prior to them being placed into service, and existing installations Health and Safety requirements

How is the course assessed

The course is assessed as follows:

Unit 502 - Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing, This includes;

Task A - A visual inspection exercise (30 mins) Task B - Practical Inspection, Testing & Certification assessment (2 hrs 30 mins) Task C - Short answer written exam, open book (1 hr 20 mins)

Unit 052 - Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing, 2 Hour Online open book multiple choice test.
