The awards presentation brought even more cause for celebration. Annabel Heath was awarded Second Place, while Dan Thompson was announced as the overall Winner of the competition. Their work was reviewed by University alumni and industry professionals, including representatives from TP Squared Ltd. and Eighty3 Design, who also presented the awards.

In addition to individual success, Shrewsbury College’s A Level Graphic Communication course received the prestigious title of Best College Course, recognising the consistently high standard of work produced by the group. The course was also awarded a selection of print materials and merchandise from G.F. Smith, the competition’s sponsor.
Dan and Annabel received £100 and £50 Amazon vouchers respectively, alongside the pride of representing the College at a national level.
This exceptional set of results reflects the talent, dedication, and ambition of our students - and the supportive, creative environment fostered within the Graphic Communication department. It’s a moment of real pride for the College and an inspiring reminder of what young designers can achieve when they’re encouraged to “be who they want to be".
