College Name Change Proposal

Shrewsbury Colleges Group is planning to change its name to Shrewsbury College from 1 August 2025 onwards.

Shrewsbury College is clearer, less ambiguous and more accurately reflects our unity as a single college with a shared student-centred ethos and a commitment to outstanding inclusion and high standards, operating from three campuses in the town.

The change of name does not mean anything else will change. Shrewsbury College will continue to provide the same outstanding education for students and continue to play a crucial role as an anchor institution in Shrewsbury, Shropshire and across the West Midlands region.
