Who is it for?

This qualification is aimed at practising Electricians who have not carried out Inspection and Testing since qualifying or who require some update training. It is also for Domestic Installers and persons in allied trades who need to test their own work and issue certificates. 17th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification would be helpful as all tests must be to this standard. An understanding of electrical installations is essential to complete this qualification.

What does the course involve?

The legal requirements for the inspection and testing of new installations. What paperwork to complete, items to check during inspection and the purpose of each test and why the correct sequence is vital.

How is the course assessed?

Assessment for this qualification is by a 90 minute written exam, on-line multi-choice exam and a practical assessment.

Progression Bonus: Christmas 2017
Any existing student who progresses onto a higher level course with us in September 2017 and remains on the course until December 2017 will receive a £200 bonus. *assuming there is a progression route from your course.
