Shon Morgans
Before coming here I had started something different at another college, so when I did discover Shrewsbury I had to begin at level one. That was good for me really and has given me the confidence to go on to levels two and three. I have really enjoyed my first year and have had some successes, including being part of the team that won best in class in the annual Welsh catering competition - that involved cooking a four-course meal in 90 minutes. I was part of the group that went on an exchange visit to Italy and this summer I have a seasonal job in a four-star hotel in Cornwall.
