Do you want a career in the dynamic world of Accountancy and Finance, providing financial information to an organisation or its shareholders or investors?
Do you want to continue your professional development and extend your career options in the workplace?
If you feel your future lies in accounting, we have the right scheme to set you on track to being the best in the business. A profession in accounting hosts a wide range of career opportunities including auditing, consulting, corporate finance, tax planning, self-employment and much more.
With a qualification at Shrewsbury College from The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) you will have an internationally recognised and respected qualification that shows potential employers that you have been trained to the highest standard.
We offer accounting qualifications from Level 2 to 4, accommodating all skill levels from beginner to expert.
Each completion of an AAT Level is a qualification in its own right. Full completion of the Level 4 Diploma in Accounting and work experience will lead to designated letters (MAAT) after your name. If you wish to progress further with your career and academic qualifications you can achieve chartered accountancy status by further study, progressing with some exemptions as a result of completing the AAT qualifications.
Shrewsbury College offers AAT training for school leavers, business professionals and those seeking a new and exciting career.
This subject area has courses which can be taken alongside GCSEs and other qualifications.
