Start your career in accounting and finance or improve on existing skills with an internationally recognised and respected Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification. All students will have the opportunity to participate in work experience and/or a placement to give them valuable hands-on experience of applying their accounting skills.

A profession in accounting offers a wide range of career opportunities including auditing, consulting, corporate finance, tax planning, self-employment and much more.

We offer Level 2 to 4 Diplomas in Accounting (AAT), accommodating all skill levels from school leavers to business professionals and those seeking a change in career path. Each completion of an AAT Level is a qualification in its own right. Full completion of the Level 4 Diploma in Accounting and work experience will lead to membership of the Association of Accounting Technicians - MAAT).

Upon completion of Level 4, students can progress to Certified, Chartered and Cost and Management Accountancy qualifications.

Ready for work?
An apprenticeship could be for you!

I am currently working as an apprentice at Whittingham Riddell whilst doing this course, which is great because it means I can get a qualification whilst working. I went to university last year but didn’t enjoy the structure of the course, here I get hands on experience, rather than just work in a classroom.
