The benefits of study a higher level course at Shrewsbury College includes saving money, studying locally in familiar surroundings, flexible modes of study - full-time or part-time, study whilst developing your career, smaller tutor groups than at university

Our full-time and part-time Access to HE courses are designed for people who want to study a university level course, but who didn’t gain the qualifications they needed while at school.

Most of the courses mix practical with theory and whether you study at Radbrook Campus or at our Main Campus on London Road, you can be sure of high standards and excellent support. We are proud of our partnerships with Edge Hill University in teacher education and with Staffordshire University in all other areas of the curriculum. As a founder member of the SURF Consortium (Staffordshire University Regional Federation) we are at the forefront of collaborative developments nationally.

Every year over 200 students graduate with a Level 4 or above qualification at Shrewsbury College and our pride in our graduates is at our Higher Awards Ceremony held at St Chad’s.
