Students prepare to scare at Spooky Walks
Performing Arts and Music students from Shrewsbury College are to scare the people of Shropshire this Halloween at Attingham Park’s Spooky Walks.
The popular self-guided walks have included performances by students from the College for the last couple of years, but this year promises to be bigger, better and scarier than before. For the first time, students will take up residence in the Mansion; offering a fantastic backdrop for more horror delights.
The students, who have been working on the project since they started in September, will also perform a variety of spine-chilling songs and hair-raising dramas.
‘‘I think the Spooky Walks performances are great! I love seeing the audience being genuinely freaked out,’’ said Keri Hopward Performing Arts Level 3 Year 2 Student.
Spooky Walks will take place at Attingham Park on Monday 28, Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 October from 6-8pm (last admission 7.30pm).The walks are not suitable for under eights (at parents’ discretion) and sections of the route involve steps. Visitors must bring their own torches as it will be after dark. Normal grounds admission charges apply.
