College scoops safety award
Shrewsbury College has been recognised for its approach to health and safety by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
The College was presented with a Gold award as part of the annual RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards.
“This is our tenth Gold Award, which has earned us an additional Gold Medal,” said Shrewsbury College Health & Safety Advisor, Mike Bristow. “It clearly demonstrates Shrewsbury College’s on-going commitment to provide a safe and healthy environment for all students, staff and visitors to the College.”
The RoSPA Awards scheme is the largest and longest-running programme of its kind in the UK. It recognises commitment to accident and ill health prevention and is open to businesses and organisations of all types and sizes from across the UK and overseas.
