Shrewsbury College of Arts and Technology

Adult Maths and English

Skills for Life is the Government's strategy for improving adult literacy and numeracy skills. Priority goes to improve the skills of those groups where literacy and numeracy needs are greatest and where we can make most impact.
The strategy is designed to ensure that every relevant organisation, at national and local level, can contribute by working to a common set of objectives and within a clear national framework. Shrewsbury College's provision includes Second Chance, tackling adult literacy and numeracy skills and New Horizons, part-time Courses for Adults with Learning Difficulties or Disabilities.
