Breakfast is served
On Wednesday 18th September members of Shropshire Chambers spent their 110th AGM at Shrewsbury College, enjoying a first class breakfast in the brand new commercial restaurant, Origins.
Also on the menu was “Apprenticeships”. Ian Jervis, Assistant Principal, Business Development who spoke at the event stated, ‘I was impressed by the number of members who already had a good grasp of the government agenda for Apprenticeships and their willingness to support the College in further Apprenticeship development.’
Mr Jervis went on to say, ‘Chamber Members had expressed a pleasant surprise at how Apprenticeships had inspired their work force and that the Apprentice brand did make a difference to their employees.’ One Chamber member took to Twitter to express how ‘excellent’ the talk was and how ‘superb’ the food tasted.
Currently the College offers a wide variety of Apprenticeships, including Accounting; Childcare, Construction, Engineering, Hair, Beauty & Therapies, Hospitality & Catering as well as Motor Vehicle.
