Introduction to Writing Fiction (6 weeks)

An introduction to the theory of planning and writing long and short stories; develop the technique on craft, editing and marketing; introduce strategies particular to the art of long and short fiction.

Memoir Masterclass (10 weeks)

Introduce the memoir form; provide an understanding of the memoir genre and how the work might fit in; Provide an understanding of narrative craft and the opportunity to gain feedback from others.

Writing Poetry (5 weeks)                         

Introduce different forms of Poetry and the primary elements of writing verse; provide the opportunity to read work aloud giving & receiving feedback; equip learners with an understanding of poetic movements and reasons for writing poetry.

Publishing your Writing (1 day workshop)

Familiarise learners with the publishing industry; learn how to format manuscripts and write covering letters to publishers. Equip learners with an understanding of how to place their work.
