Entry requirements

  • Full driving licence
  • An approved Level 3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification
  • At least 4 years' experience in the Motor Industry
  • Overalls and protective footwear for college

What does the course involve?

1 Day home self-study and 3 days study at college with a final, online assessment. The course is both classroom and practical based.

How is the course assessed?

The final assessment is an online examination set by the IMI and practical assessment.

Additional notes

Once successfully completed you will be required to complete 3 hours annual updates/CPD to maintain your status.
