Digital Photography 2
Ideally, you will have completed the Digital Photography 1 course, however, if you feel that you are not a complete novice and have some experience and knowledge of using a digital camera, then this is the level for you.
What does the course involve?
The sessions will mostly be a mixture of theory and practical work and we will look at portraiture with studio lighting, urban and rural landscape photography along with night and day, still-life and close-up photography. We will look at Photoshop and how to use it to the best affect with your own style of photography, from finite editing to creating an abstract image. We'll also look at how to print images and your online / website presence and how to develop this as a photographer. There will be a field trip during one session where we will meet and look at urban photography on location somewhere in Shrewsbury.
How is the course assessed?
No formal assessment, however one to one and group guidance will be given by the tutor on how to improve and get better results over the course.
You are required to bring your digital SLR camera. This course is not suitable for compact digital cameras or bridge cameras.
